Product Introduction
Endogenous Peroxidase Blocker is designed to quench endogenous peroxidase activity in tissues or cells during immunohistochemistry (IHC), immunocytochemistry (ICC), in situ hybridization (ISH), and TSA-based multiplex immunofluorescence (mIHC). Endogenous peroxidase is widely distributed in certain cells and tissues—e.g., erythrocytes, kidney, and liver—where it can generate high background or false-positive signals. Therefore, tissue or cell samples should be treated with an appropriate peroxidase blocker before staining to eliminate this interference. This product is ready-to-use; no preparation or dilution is required.
Notes
1. For certain antigens where the peroxidase detection system is problematic, an alkaline phosphatase detection system may be used as an alternative.
2. For research use only; not intended for clinical diagnosis or therapy.
